Cybersecurity for Seniors

My name is Mathew Burch. I protect the computers, tablets, and phones of retirees across Florida and the Southeast.

I spent more than twenty years in the military. Most of it was as an MQ-9 sensor operator, and then as an instructor training the people who do that job. I am a service-disabled veteran. I started Loggerhead Dynamics after I took the uniform off.

I start with your house.

I come out and look at what you actually have. Your home Wi-Fi, your router, and the settings on every device.

Then I sit down with you and explain what I found in plain English, and what I'm going to do about it.

Most people have two or three problems they never knew about. Usually it's an old password, a router nobody has touched since it was installed, or a device still set up the way it came out of the box.

Every device is protected.

Every computer in your house, Windows and Mac. Your phones and your tablets too.

Security software goes on each one and runs in the background around the clock. It blocks the fake virus pop-ups, the bad links, and the websites built to look like ones you trust.

You don't need to understand any of it. That's my job.

Call me before you click.

If a message scares you, a link looks off, or someone on the phone is rushing you, stop and call me first. No question is too small. I'd much rather hear from you ten times about nothing than once too late.

When something goes wrong, I fix it.

If you click something you shouldn't have, a pop-up tells you to call a number, or the computer starts acting strange, call me.

Most problems I fix by connecting to your machine remotely while you watch. If I can't fix it that way, I come to your house.

Call and ask me anything. No charge for a conversation.
